Find and organize your music
Search your library by name or tempo, put tracks on energy shelves, and rename, duplicate or delete playlists. None of it changes the music files on your computer.
Search
Type in Search tracks at the top of the library. Words you type are matched across title, artist, label, album and genre. Press / anywhere to jump to the search box.
- Type a tempo, like 124, to see tracks within 2 BPM of it.
- Type a range, like 120-128, to see everything in between.
Each tempo filter shows as a small tag next to the search box. Press its × to clear it.
What the columns show
Title and artist, label, genre, BPM, key, release year and length.
Make more room
Drag the divider above the library to make it taller or shorter. Double-click the divider to reset it. Mix//Sync remembers the size in this browser.
Right-click a track
- Load to Deck A or Load to Deck B.
- Put it on an energy shelf by hand: Openers & warm-up, Dark & groovy, Emotional, Peak time, or Closers & comedown. Clear label takes it off again.
- Remove from Library. Mix//Sync asks first, and the file on your computer is not touched.
Your playlists and the energy shelves
Your playlists help fill the energy shelves. When a shelf was filled this way, a line under the shelves says "from your playlists". A shelf you choose by hand for a track always wins. See Energy shelves.
Right-click a playlist
Choose Rename, Duplicate or Delete playlist. Mix//Sync asks before it deletes, deleting a playlist never removes its tracks from your library, and deleting an imported playlist leaves the original in Rekordbox untouched. To leave a playlist out of the shelves, choose Don't count this playlist for shelves.
